First Cruise

Well, Today is the 21st of October and in one week, my wife and I will be sailing out of Galveston on Rhapsody of the Seas(RCCL) on our FIRST cruise!!!!! We are celebrating our 15th Anniversary and are both nervous and very excited. I have filled out all of our documents and the new suit will be ready Thursday. She has bought all the clothes she will possibly need (and then some!) and we are making the final lists. We are like young kids at Christmas, looking at each other with little grins and saying,"Can you believe it's only one more week?" or "This time next week we'll be at sea?"

I want to Thank everyone on this site because when my wife booked this over a year ago and surprised me with it, I found this message board and have used it almost exclusively to get my "stupid" questions answered! I still don't know everything I need to know, but I know A LOT more than I used to! I am going to get on the ship and just learn whatever else I need to as I go. I can hardly wait to experience the fun that you all have talked about.

When I think that just a few years ago I was in your shoes without the advice available on a board like this I wonder how we managed that first cruise? I do know we over packed but besides that we came back and the hook was set. You'll love it and want to do it all the time. Number nine next week, number ten booked already and number 11 picked out, just not booked yet.
