Is it better to book early or last minute?

Hi everyone,
I would like to book a cruise for the 4th of July for 5 or 7 nights. Is it better to book in advance or last minute.

Also, any recommedations on which cruise lines are the best for this type of cruise? I'm not sure if I'd like to go to Mexico or another part of the Caribbean...

Thanks for your input,
Sara

For a holiday cruise you should probably book in advance. Those tend to sell out quicker then "regular" voyages.

Well which cruise line depends on what you are looking for in the cruise and how much you want to spend.

Hi Sara,
I would definately book as soon as you figure what ship and itinary you want to do, especially if you want a certain cabin. Have you looked into one of the Voyager class ships of RCCL, they are loads of fun, just a thought?? Enjoy!
