Default Carnival vs RCI

My husband & I are considering a cruise vacation in May. We have been looking at the 3 night Bahamas cruises with Carnival (Fantasy) and RCI (Sovereign of the Seas). I tend to leand toward RCI simply because it has its own private island, but I understand there is the chance we will not get to stop there. Also, are any of the cabins non-smoking on these two ships?

Hi Julie,
Nope, have not heard of any non-smoking cabins like they offer at hotels on either of these ships. For a short cruise, either ship would be good, but like you, I really enjoy the private island, great beach days! The only reason the stop there could get cancelled would be due to bad weather, then the tenders are not safe to operate, hope you make it there, have fun.
