Default disney wonder

My family is going on a 3night cruise on Disney Wonder. What extra charges should I be prepared for?
My daughters are 7 & 9. Will they be able to hang out together in the kids programs? Or are they very strict about age groups?

Hi Jana,
What you will need to pay extra for are soda's, any purchases onboard, any shore excersions, and tips.

Here is the Disney kids program information, looks like the kids will be in different groups, but its possible to ask and see if they will make an exception?? Good luck and enjoy the cruise:

DISNEY CRUISE LINE

Ships: Disney Wonder, Disney Magic

Destinations: Bahamas, Eastern Caribbean

Groups: 3-4, 5-7, 8-9, 10-12; 13-17.

Counselors: For 3-8 year olds, there is a ratio of one counselor to every 15 children. For 9-12 year olds, the ratio is one counselor to every 25 children.

Hours: 9 a.m. - 12:30 a.m.

Cool Teen Stuff: Common Grounds, teen-only coffee bar along with an array of teen-specific programming. Teens have their own beach on Castaway Cay.

Parent Savers: Flounder's Reef Nursery is available during specific hours of the day Send this Article to a Friend
and evening for kids ages 12 weeks to 3 years. The hourly fee is $6 per child; $5 per additional child per hour, with a two hour minimum. Parent pagers are given to all parents with children in the program areas so they can be contacted at any time. Adult-only areas are available including an entertainment district, pool, an adult-only Northern Italian restaurant, Vista Spa and Salon, and Serenity Bay on Castaway Cay. (Children's programming continues on the island).

Available: Strollers, cribs, beepers

Kids' Shore Excursions: Teens have a junkanoo cruise available in Nassau. There are select children's shore excursions on the seven-day cruises.

Rates: Seven-night land/sea packages and seven-night eastern Caribbean cruises begin at $829 per adult and $399 for kids. A four-night Bahamas cruise begins at $539 for adults and $329 for kids. A three-night Bahamian cruise begins at $439 for adults and $229 for kids.

Noteworthy Features: Rotation dining: Families rotate to a different restaurant each night of their cruise.

Bath-and-a-half added to largest staterooms (25% larger than industry average).

Original Broadway-style family entertainment in the Walt Disney Theatre.

ESPN Sky Box featuring multiple events on many screens.

Nearly an entire deck (15,000 square feet) dedicated to children's programs.

Castaway Cay, Disney's private island in The Bahamas, offers a dedicated area with children's programs.

The ships have been designed with separate areas and activities for families, for kids and for adults. Both ships have a kids' splash pool with spiral slide.

Wow! Factor: The Disney characters are aboard, which is a much more intimate setting than in the theme parks. Aboard ship, children can dance with Snow White or learn how to be a pirate from Captain Hook.
