Default cash or cards

Hi Im here again with another question.
I am on Crown Princess next month.
I thought I had it worked out what i needed money wise.
My plan was (on advice) that anything on the ship is done via my credit card being settled up at the end of the cruise.
I am a little confused as to what cash I should take or are there facilities to obtain whatever currency i need bearing in mind im from england.
should i take a load of travellers checks or not

Hi James,
I usually have some travelers checks, may be easier for you, but basically unless you gamble a lot and plan on some shopping, you really don't need a lot of cash, you can still use your credit card off ship for purchases too. The only other thing you may need some cash for is the tips if they don't do the automatic tipping on Crown, and even then you can still have it changed and do it the old fashioned way if you prefer. You can also cash travelers checks onboard, thats not a problem.

HOpe this was some help? Have a great time!

Good idea to take cash for the casino. If you charge chips then pay via mc or visa I think they charge a surcharge.
