I'm getting ready to book a cruise - how do I know that I'm not paying too much for cancellation insurance? How do I know which "plan" to choose? Is this something we must pay for? Sorry for so many questions!
Its always a good idea to take out travel insurance, most include cancellation coverage, you just have to read through the different policies and find the one thats good for you. There are quite a few independent insurance companies, here are a few to check out:
Travel insurance will cover things like lost luggage, travel expense if a missed plane, and I think most importantly is medical coverage, should something happen during your vacation. Most of our own health coverage does not cover if you need to be air lifted to a hospital and that can cost lots of cash.
Good luck in the search for the right policy and enjoy your cruise!
