Default Sea and Sail Card

Yes about the how much to bring. Going with family of 4. We will doing excursions on our own but I figure they will still be around 40 a person plus lunch or whatever. Do you get charged to cash in your travelers checks on board does anyone know?

Hi Helene,
Its difficult to say exactly how much cash you will need, all depends on what you buy off the ship, everything you purchase onboard will go on your sign/sail card, which in turn gets charged to the credit card you use for that. If you do some gambling, you will need cash for that and the tips at the end of the cruise if they are not done with the new automatic tipping. What cruiseline are you going on?

As for cashing travelers checks, I've done that in the past and its not a problem, and I was not charged for it either, just about like cash anyway.

Can you pay cash for the charges incurred on the "Ship & Sail Card" at the end of the cruise? I'll be traveling on the OceanBreeze Imperial Majesty to the Bahamas.

Thanks...

You can pay cash for your charge account, but you will be expected to make a cash deposit up front.
