Default bringing wine

That's a great idea. The only thing is that we are flying to port first and I am afraid even wrapped up well that it could break and get all over clothes. Anymore suggestions?

You can bring six bottles in a pre-packaged wooden wine box with a handle. Many wine stores sell 1/2 cases this way and they have neat handles to transport as a carry-on. Many of the meiddle to upper grade wineries do this kind of packaging. There are also pre-formed styrofoam boxes that can be used for wine. They are very light and re-usable for your next trip.

We flew and just used a collapsible cooler for wine, champagne and my diet drinks and we just carried it on on both plane and ship.No breakage problems here.
