Default Rip out that deck plan!

I just remembered from our cruise last month how helpful it was again to rip the deck plan out of your cruise brochures.

On the first or second day on Carnival Spirit, we were in the casual restaurant, trying to decide where to go next and were consulting the deck plan. A woman walked up and asked where she could get one, too, and I explained I ripped it out of our brochure before we left. I then told her it was another of Pamda's great tips in "Cruise Control."

Pam, I forgot to mention that when we saw you - but it's always appreciated!

I am ripping out the Vision of the Seas plan today in prep for my cruise Monday, and it came to mind. Having the entire deck plan is so much better than that little dinky pocket plan they give you on board!

Thought I would pass along the tip and the compliment,

Harry

Have to agree Harry. The other item is in case there is an upgrade at the pier you can quickly check to see if it is right for you.

That is so weird. We had little folded deck plans in all our cabins on our 6/26 sailing on the Carnival Spirit. Did they discontinue them? We took them everywhere! And still somehow ended up on the crew deck. <g>

Our little deck plans were not in the cabin, but I always find that side view of the ship hard to read, so I still rip out the full plan.

Also, Y2C is right about using it to find your cabin. This is great, too, if you have just booked a guarantee, then you know while you are in line what you ended up with.
