i used to bring my small travel iron, but not anymore , who wants to iron on a cruise? not me. If something gets wrinkled i just hang it up in the shower and turn on the hot water and let the steam take care of the wrinkles. If the wrinkles are really, really bad i will pay to have my garment pressed.

Is it expensive to have cruise personnel iron your clothes? How much does it usually run for bc most of my clothes usually have to be iron?

Hi Devan,
Forget the iron, most cruiselines consider them a fire hazard.. What line are you cruising on? Both Carnival and Princess have self service laundry rooms where you'll find not only washers and dryers, but irons and ironing boards to use too.

You may also want to pack you suits/dresses in the plastic cleaner bags, really eleminates the wrinkles and no ironing needed.

Buy the Downy spray for removing wrinkles from clothes. I always carry it. Spray it on - wipe your hand down the material - good as new.

Hi PSM,
I was just looking up that deck on cruisestateroom.com and I don't see any laundry rooms listed, but there are some spots where they could be located, just doesn't say so. Sorry I could tell you exactly

Hopefully someone thats been on Victory will know.

Does anyone know where the laundry rooms on the Norway is located and whether it has an iron or how much it is to have the clothes ironed? I am on the Fjord deck.

I pack all my good clothes in a garment bag, and no problems with wrinkles. Hand carry the garment bag right to the cabin!
