FIRST: My apologies for the littered 1st posting. I thought simple HTML was allowed, so sorry for the confusion. I've attempted an edited version below ~dp~

I've booked my sister's & self an Eastern Caribbean group cruise aboard Carnival's Triumph next year.
We are guaranteed a balcony Category 8C room.
I've requested a Handicapped Accessible room, but have been informed [by group leader] that such rooms are of an inferior grade on lower decks ;-(
I did mention I would readily consider UPgrading if need be or at all possible.
Has anyone here, any firsthand experience to enlighten me?
...do the bathrooms/showers have safety handholds,
...is there adequate room for a walker between the foot of the bed and the wall to get to the balcony,
...are the thresholds only a couple of inches high,
...is free ice available (aka hotels),
...are the complimentary bathrobes available in plus sizes,
...would a plus size person fit/be allowed
(if not welcomed) to enjoy a ride down the pool's curly slide?}
If indeed we cannot be accommodated,
I am considering bringing a 'Handheld Shower' to (hopefully) adapt in the bathroom and a small mini-fridge for meds.
"IF" a suitable room is provided, will it's 'status' allow all three of us priority embarking privileges?
On a happier note, since confetti & streamers are not part of the Bon Voyage, would soap bubbles be acceptable?
I know that's a LOT of questions to ask, but I'd sincerely appreciate any & all feedback you'd have to share.
Kindest Regards, Denise
