Default disembarkment - stay on board?

My flight doesn't leave Miami till 5:15pm on the Sunday of my disembarkment. How long can i stay on the ship for? What's there to do when your hauling luggage around?

Any advise or suggestions would be great!!!

Cheers...bw

you can rent a car or you can rent a day room at one of the hotels or you can take a tour through the ship.

Every one has to leave the ship before the next group can board, so they won't allow you to stay on the ship or leave your luggage. I don't know about Miami, but some ports have a place for you to leave your luggage while you do some sightseeing.

Our Travel Agency (In the Netherlands though) offered us a shuttle from the pier to the airport.
Once we got off the ship we were able to put our luggage inside the bus, which dropped us at Bayside and picked us up at 7 PM to get to the airport afterwards.
This way we didn't have to carry our luggage all day inside Miami.

you can book a day tour with the cruise line, that way you won't have to worry about your luggage or anything, you could book a day room at a hotel and relax and enjoy the amenties.
