Default Soda

Hi,

Our first cruise will be on 03/20/04 on the Imagination. Can you tell me if soda is included in your dinners or do we pay that seperately?

Thanks

soda is never free (anywhere/anytime) on the ship. ice tea, lemonade, milk and apple juice is free.

You can buy a soda card ($30 approx. for 7 day trip). Or you can pay $2 each for each can of pop. Unless you drink more than 2 sodas per day, I don't think it's worth it. It can't be shared among two people. I found the lemonade, juice, milk, and water just fine - ordered 2 cans of ginger ale one night when not feeling well ($2 each).

I love pop but I was surprised at how very little we drank. We took a little on with us for our mixed drinks in our room. Other than that - we got thirsty & drank LOTS of water & lots of ice tea - it quenched the thirst well & was the right price - free!

Soda is not free so if you plan on drinking more than two cans of soda a day buy the fountain card. It will save you a ton of money.
If you are traveling with a child though, they do give them one free soda with dinner.
I usually stick with water and lemonade. I can't ever get enough of it.

Carnival is Coke only, no Pepsi. I got a soda card, not worth it.

Not sure if they are offering the soda cards on on cruise lines any more. Royal doesn't have one. I am amazed that I don't crave soda while on board either. I drink a lot of water (and beer). But I've heard that you have to drink several soda's a day to pay for the card.

I know NCL still has soda cards, cuz I bought them for my two dd's and my dh....

But I'd like to know if I'll be drinking Pepsi, or choking down Coke...

I heard that non-alcoholic (Virgin drinks) were included on the soda card. Is this true? I am not a really a pop drinker so unless I can get the fancy drinks it would be usless for me. What about bottled water? Is it included on this card?

I am a Pepsi drinker. I brought a 12 pack on board. They don't care about soda, only alcohol.
