My in-laws always got the most inexpensive room available. They always said "all you do is sleep, bathe, and change clothes, why get a better room?". Last year they took a cruise and decided to get a balcony. They loved it!!! They made the comment that with the nicer room they enjoyed it much more and spent more time there. If the price is right, I personally would go for it.

I would certainly go for the balcony, especially if the price is right! Go for it and enjoy :-)

If the price is right, go for it. Sitting in the privacy of your balcony and sipping on a cool drink is wonderful.

Regards,
Thomas

Loved that balcony! We actually spent most of our days out there - ran up to Lido and got food - and back down to the room - and ate outside - glorious. Be sure to go out in the middle of the night as well - just you the stars, the moon - the waves - like nothing I have ever experienced. Funny thing - we never spent any time at the pools at all. Have a great trip. TTFN Jennifer
