Default Christmas Cruise Ideas

My husband and I want to take our first cruise this Xmas. We are in 40-50 year olds who love to hang out, gamble and not be around alot of young children. Any suggestions on a good, laid back cruise line?

Although I have never been on them I have heard that HAL and Celebrity tend to have less children. You should probably avoid Carnival and RCI as that will be a school vacation week and many families travel with their children over the holidays (I know I do)! Hope this helps and happy cruising.

December 27th there is an adults only New Years cruise on the Celebrity Mercury. This is a an 11 night cruise out of San Pedro, Ca. This is a great itinerary, a very nice ship and no kids. What a bonus!

Celebrity, HAL, Princess-would be my top 3 picks -- all cruise lines will have some children aboard unless its an adult only cruise. You will encounter the most families on Carnival, and RCCL. Princess will have familes aboard but they limit the number of children allowed.
