Default Pushing Beds Together?

The website states "Two twin beds (can convert into queen-size)". If they just push the beds together, are we going to be falling throught the crack all night? How do they do it?

Yes, they just push the beds together and use queen size sheets. I've never really had a problem with the crack in between the beds, I wouldn't worry about it.

I don't know what cruise line you are on but with RCCL, yes they did just push the beds together but there was a board laying horizontally between the two beds and this did stop the two beds from sliding away from each other. With queen sheets, neither my dh or myself noticed and found our bedding to be very comfortable.

Sounds like we'll live. I just hope I don't have nightmares that I'm falling into the cracks like that movie Volcano, .

Thanks for the quick responses.

I was told it was a king size bed when pushed together.

On HAL Oosterdam the two twins were pushed together and then they placed a thick mattress pad over the beds and then the sheets of course. We didn't notice a crack at all.

Oh, if they use a queen size mattress pad and sheet, that should be fine. We wouldn't even notice the crack. We're on RCCL.

Didn't notice the crack. Beds were suprisingly very comfortable.

They use queen sized sheets. We've never had a problem with this. It's worked out just fine. You get more room if you have the beds put together. What we liked on Carnival Fascination was that one control near the bed took care of the lights, the tv, etc. and we didn't even have to get up!
