Default Things I brought that I didn't need

I've come back from my very first cruise and overpacked. These are just a few things I did NOT need on the Voyager:

alarm clock (wake-up service available)

wire hangers (plenty wooden hangers in the closet)

night light (lots of different lighting in the room)

Downy wrinkle release (once the clothes were hung up, they didn't look wrinkled)

extension cord/power strip (just didn't need it)

shampoo (there was a shampoo/conditioner dispenser in the shower). All I would bring next time is my favorite conditioner

less clothing

I may think of more later.

Were you in an inside or outside cabin? I have heard the nightlight is mostly for those of us stuck in an inside cabin and its on my list of things to buy, but maybe I wont bother....What do you think?

I had a balcony, but the room was still dark at nightime. I was on the Voyager and it had small lights above the bed. If you're not sure though, bring it anyway.

too many clothes
I don't bother with the nightlight, wrinkle reducer spray ( use the shower or the ship's laundry room to do a quick press)
I do bring a smal battery operated travel alarm clock, mainy to see what time it is in the night or when we are arriving into a port
Haven't had a need for the duct tape as of yet. No problems keeping the balcony door open.
No power strip, but i would pack one of those four-outlet adapters that plug into the outlet.
Wouldn't even think of packing extra hangers. I do pack our dress clothes in the garment bag on wire hangers in the dry cleaners bags.
