Default time management to depart

I am afraid i may have screwed up. Our flight is due to arrive at 1:10 in Ft.Lauderdale. We are planning on taking a cab, it says boarding 5 pm. Did I plan enough time ? What is the latest you could get to port and make it? any ideas on how much we should expect for cabfare? thanks

I'd have to think you'll have plenty of time, unless your flight is very, very delayed. Airport to cruise ship port is not that far apart. If your flight is on time, i'll bet you are to your ship by 2:30 or even earlier. I don't know the cost of a taxi, but the distance is just a few miles, so it can't be that much.

the key is your ships departure time. You need to be on board 1 hour before ships departure, are you talking about a 5pm departure time or boarding time? it makes a huge difference. If you don't have any major delays in your flights you should be ok. Its about a 10 minute ride from the airport to the pier, lots of cabs at the airport.

Frogfuzz --

Can you fly stanby on an earlier flight? There's no charge for this change.
