I'm just wondering about the Fun Pass that the Carnival website urges you to fill out before your cruise to make things easier/faster.
I filled it all out and it said complete and to print - which I did.
However, what printed out is just a picture of the Fun Pass. How in the world does taking this with me and showing it to them make things go faster? I thought I'd get some lengthy detailed thing that would show them all my information. By seeing this are they going to know that I did it all online and all my information is (or at least should be) in their computer system?
Can you tell I'm a little worried/nervous about having everything ready?
I think by being able to print the completed fun pass, will let them know that all your information is there and finished, should help speed up the whole embarkment process. I will find out on Sept. 10, have mine completed and printed...
Well, we just returned last week-end from our Cruisemates Glory cruise, and by the time we got to the pier, very few people left to board, so the whole embarkment deal went super fast. I too did print out our fun passes, they just saw that they were complete and didn't need to take them, so I would say as long as its complete, you don't have to print it out, but its nice to have, they can see its completed and most likely will save some time.
Yep Frank just take that with you, they may ask for it and they may not ... My parents who had cruised prior to the fun pass being started had to fill out info on their docs when they came, last year and this year all the info was there.
It does save you the time of filling it out at the pier, but the main reason is really that after 9/11 the Federal Government tightened restrictions regarding people leaving/entering the country. The cruise lines now have to submit manifest information to US Immigration & Customs before the ship sails.
