I have a question about phone cards and hope someone here can help me.
I went on my first cruise last January...took an international phone card with me that gave me nothing but trouble each and every time I tried to call my daughters back home. I ended up calling them from the ship and spent a small fortune on the phone bill.
My question is...which phone card is best to purchase? Any specific brand, type, etc? I'd so appreciate any and all input from those of you who have used the cards and had good luck. I'll be sailing the Liberty to the Eastern Caribbean in January...can't wait!
We don't use the phone cards just for that reason. What we do is head for a "calling center" on the island, this is what the crew uses. You buy minutes, you have to wait your turn and when its your turn they call you and you go into a private booth, and the number is dialed for you.
On-board e-mail is also a great way for quick hello just to touch base back home.
By mid 1990, the business card sales hit $ 650,000,000. In 2000 that number was $ 3 billion. Today, Internet retailers also offer a variety of plans for nearly two hundred in the world. Industry optimized risen $ 10 billion. This feeds the cards Internet Phone, which have significantly reduced the vocation. But there is no need to go online to find some good deals, not the cards are available in almost every corner shop, a newsstand, and usually at similar locations in different countries around the world. The truth is that there is more room for growth, it is not surprising nature of this area.
