Default When am I suppose to get my paper work?

Hi,

I'm sailing on my first cruise on Carnival Destiny on 2/12. I'm really looking forward to it and am in planning frenzy. When should I get the paper work from Carnival about my cruise?

Opps... I guess they are called travel documents.

Thank you ahead of time.

How did you book it? through Carnival direct or an agent? or online? Many lines now send you an email and that is all you get. Have you done online registration forms yet? they are separate from booking. you will need your booking number though.
IF they are going to send you documents it can be anywhere from six weeks to two weeks prior to your cruise. did you get air with them? that affects when things are sent as well.

Hi arwenmark *waves*

I booked online. Thank you. I'll verify in my email to make sure I have confirmation email as well as a booking number and all information. I booked my flight seperate since I wanted to fly in a day before and fly out a day afterwards. I wanted to enjoy San Juan and didn't want to worry about getting in late.

When booking, I also filled out when I wanted to dine, which deck and type of cabin I wanted to be in and the whole bit. Is that what you mean by registration?

I thought I was suppose to recieve a fun pass booklet as well as other information. It sounds like I won't need to start to worry until a few more weeks. I guess I jumped the gun a bit.

I was told it should be anywhere from 2 weeks to 30 days before you sail, so anyday now.

No that is not the registration I am talking about. I believe all the cruiselines now have online registration. Once you have your reservation number, which they should have given you when you booked, you go the the cruiseline website and there should be a link for online registration. In it you will put all your ID information, Passport numbers if you have them and other info if you don't you then print that out and take it with you when you check in at the pier. Most require it to be submitted at least two weeks prior to sailing.

Default Cruise Docs.

After final payment. Usually within the last four weeks. Make sure your address is correct.
