Default Ship seemed full; staterooms suddenly available??

How can that be? I've been monitoring the sailing and checking back every so often to see if my cruise was filling up. For a while there were no inside staterooms at all, now every category is wide open. Any ideas?

Once its time for final payment sometimes cabins become available. Some people change their minds. I've also heard that agents reserve blocks of cabins and then release what they haven't sold when it comes to final payment time.

Some travel agents will also get a bunch of cabins to sell and after so long, if not sold, they have to return them and they become available again. Also, when final payment is due, sometimes people can't go and then their cabin becomes available as well.
