The same stateroom I paid for 6 months ago is now being sold for 800 dollars less than what I paid. I got what HAL calls an ES or Early Savings discount, but I could have obviously gotten way more if I had waited. Which is exactly what I will do for my fall cruise to Mexico.

Even though you've paid. If you're still outside of the penalty phase, you should be able get the reduced price of your cabin. Talk to your TA!!!

I don't know how it works with HAL, but with RCI and Celebrity, if the price goes down and we ask for a reduction of our price, we get it, even if it is after final payment.

Ask, you might get lucky.
