drinking ages and shore excursions!!

Hi everyone! This is my first cruise and I am taking my two college age daughters from Auburn (War Eagle!!) We are going to Freeport and Nassau and I have two different questions...so ya'll be patient with me

#1 What is the legal drinking age in the Bahamas? I am not going to trust what my daughters tell me (do you ever quit being a parent?! )

#2 Am trying to look up shore excursions,we three can't agree on any one excursion except maybe swimming with the dolphins and of course SHOPPING!! What are the good companies to deal with besides those sponsored through the cruise line? What good experiences have ya'll had out there with shore excursions in the Bahamas?

I found this on the government of Bahama's website: The legal age in the Bahamas for consumption of alcoholic beverages is 18 .

#1 legal drinking age is 18
#2 - dolphin swims - go to www.dolphindiscovery.com. Shopping at the Straw Marketplace is interesting- lots of lovely hand-woven products.
Atlantis is a great place - tour the aquarium(amazing) or book a ships excurison so that you get some beach time. Blue Lagoon is also a great place to go - prices vary greatly depending upon what you want to do.
