Default HELP!!!!

Hey - i'll be cruising in a few weeks for the first time and i've got a few questions I know you've probably all answered before but i'd be very grateful for any advise you can give.

Here we go........

1. What happens in the muster drill - how will we know where to go??
2. Is lemonade/coffee/tea free in the bars or just in the eating areas?
3. We have pre-paid gratuities but I keep reading on websites about how you still get given envelopes you have to hand out to people? Do we still have to do this if you have pre-paid?

Thanks in advance - any other advice you can offer for a first timer would be great.

:-)

The muster drill will be around the time you are leaving, they will let you know where to go. You should have a map on the inside of your cabin door as to where your station is and they have crew members all over directing you to the proper place.

You will find the drinks in the buffet areas throughout the cruise, very easy to find..

As for the tips, I would think they will profide you with vouchers showing that your tips have been paid and you give those to the staff. You can check this at the purcers desk after you board to make sure.

Go to the pursers desk and ask for receipts for your prepaid tips. Place the recipts in your tip envelope. The crew will know that you have paid tips and they will receive them once you disembark. You should get four maybe five envelopes. Hope this helps.
Cheers,

The OP was asking if the above drinks are free in lounges....not where they are in the eating areas.

I don't know if i can answer this question, but I'll try and if I am wrong I am sure someone will catch it.

I don't think the bars have lemoade or tea, but I know they have water. They might have botteled and tap. I would assume that botteled is for a fee, but the tap would be free.

Sorry i can't answer for sure, but I tried!
