Default Where to stay in the Tampa area

We are cruising on Carnival next month and will be flying into Tampa the day before we sail. I was wondering if anyone had any hotel suggestions. We are looking for a hotel that has a shuttle from the airport as well as to the port. A friend suggested the Hilton Westshore. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. This is our first cruise and we don't want to miss the boat trying to get from the hotel to the port

Thanks!

i just stayed at the sheraton riverwalk in tampa on Jan 9th.a little pricey, but you will not be sorry. you can get a shuttle or taxi from the airport to the hotel and they offer a FREE shuttle to the ship in the morning. have fun.
