Can you put cash down on your account the first day to lighten the amount going on credit and so that you are not holding it in the room ?

Yes, but there will be a safe in your room. You will need no cash on the ship, but you will need it ashore.

Yes you will always need cash, remember, your cruise card only allows you to charge on the ship. The casino's now have direct links with ATM use at a cost, I personally needed cash and was chargeD $5 to use the ATM plus my bank hit me with a charge.

If your booking on Princess and are a first time cruiser. I can get you $25 per person off with any travel agent you use, providing you sign up befor booking your first cruise.


Send me the names of every pasenger over 18 years old and I will complete the referral with Princess online.
Princess will then send you a Discount ID and Captains Circle number to give to your travel agent. Max of $50 per cabin.

PS you can always deposit funds with the cruise lines for your account.
