Fuel Surcharge increases

Hello,
I booked our first cruise (sailing 1/26/09) and have put down the required deposit with a RCL cruise specialist, but I noticed online today that RCL is changing its fuel surcharge to $10/pppd effective June 30, 2008. Should I pay for the cruise in full now to avoid the increase or am I "exempt" from the increase because the booking w/ deposit was done in May?

Any help/insight on this would be greatly appreciated.
