How does the money for the Casino work now?

This will be our second cruise and the first one about 6 years ago. I remember we could just take whatever $$ with us (cash) to the casino and play the slots. Can you still do this or did this method change? I was just curious as to how you can keep track of your spending if you put it all on an account when you get there. Still a little fuzzy on that one.

We are leaving in May for the Eastern Caribbean on the Carnival-Destiny.

You can do it a few ways.

You can simply use cash and either blow it or build a balance and "cash out".

If you build a balance on the machine you can use your S&S card to store the balance.

You can then take that card balance to another machine and play all or some of it.

You simply put the card in and create an account using your dob and or pin. You can then
1. request to have money placed on your card that will later be on your S&S account as a casino charge
2. add any amount to the card by inserting cash.
3. transfer any amount to the machine to play with.

Or, if you are like me, you could just bring cash and throw it overboard. The payoff is usually the same fo me. My luck is all bad...
