Fantasy vs Glory???????

Hi, I am new to crusing and this will be me and my hubby first cruise. We were planning to sail Fantasy because of the dates that we needed, but I found that Glory will ship out of a closer port to our home. Which ship is better? what are the pros and cons to each ship?

Best food/Best Entertainment/Best pools ect....????

I have the choice of Fantasy in late July 2011 or Glory in May 2011 going to the Bahamas NEED HELP PLEASE!!!

I've only cruised on CArnival once, and that was on Glory. I had no complaints with the ship, very nice layout, nice cabins, good food and entertainment. I belive Fantasy is a bit older. Is there a manor price difference between the two? It sounds like if you go on Glory, you would be in driving distance versus having to fly, if that is the case, you could save quite a bit.

The Fantasy was launched in 1990 and the Glory launched in 2003.

All the Fantasy class ships are ragged these days even with the evolutions of Fun upgrades (new carpet, slides, pool areas, etc.).

My friend just got off a contract on the Glory as an entertainer and from all the pictures he sent me, it looked great and in good shape.

It wouldnt hurt to YouTube both the ships and check em out.
