Public Staircases?

My family and in-laws are going on a cruise in about a week...abroad the "Ruby Princess"...I'm not a fan of elevators...does the Ruby Princesses have staircases that are open to the public? And if so, do the staircases go to each deck?

Any help would be appreciated!

Yes they do. Many prefer to walk and it can be faster than waiting for the elevator.

Thank you so much for your prompt reply...I will sleep easy tonight. My brother-in-law has been taunting me for weeks saying that I can't take the stairs on a cruise, and that even if I can, they don't go to every deck...which seems silly for me to believe...but I needed to double-check.

not to worry, we try to take the stairs as much as we can. Look at your ships deck plans it will clearly show you where all the stairways are

Hope, as everyone has reassured you, there are public stairs. They are out in the open and plentifull for everyone. I always take the stairs, beating my husband who has to take the elevator if it's multiple floors and love them because they offer some great art on each landing. Enjoy!

The stairs will still work if there is a power failure.

A suggestion when walking stairs ,if you hold the railing try to have your hand covered to avoid germs
