First Cruise!

My husband, three sons,and I will be taking our first cruise in July. Although it is several months away (too many at this point!), I am already starting to decide on excursions. We will be cruising out of Galveston, going to Progresso and Cozumel. My family is a big fan of the show, "The Amazing Race", so we are interested in The Amazing Cozumel Race excursion. Has anyone done this one? If so, do you recommend it? Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I have not done this excursion but I know a couple of people who did and enjoyed it but it doesn't have the "intensity" of Amazing Race tasks.

On Cozumel you will find some of the best snorkeling in the Caribbean. The Palancar and Columbia reefs offer some beautiful experiences and the cruise lines have some great snorkel excursions. The reefs have significantly recovered from the hurricane and are looking as good as they did before.

i totally agree with Mike, snorkeling in Cozumel is amazing, we love to snorkle the Palancaar Reef

We love Chankanaab National Park... the sand is white and beautiful, the snorkling is wonderful, so much to do there. We just love it. *Even on our land trips to Coz we spend at least an entire day there.
