Need to know whats the best places to go for a good time!
I am 21, a frat guy, and I am just now going on my first cruise. Me and one of my fraternity brothers are going on the Carnival Triumph on spring break week 2012, and we are just wondering where are the best places to go, best things to do, best places to meet women, and everything any average college student would need to know. I know about the clubs and bars which I know I will be the majority of the time, but I was wondering if there is any other things I need to know about. Maybe a password or secret phrase to get into a secret strip club (just joking on this but I am just tyring to show you what I am getting at). Any tips, hints, or answers would be greatly appreciated!
The ports are Cozmuel and Yucatan, Mexico. I'm not really worried about finding stuff to do in Mexico. I just trying to get a head start in knowing what places are good to go on the ship.
You'll definitely want to check out the dance clubs, especially the ones that stay open late. Lots of loud music, dancing and plenty of young people.
Also, there are usually advertised (in your daily newsletter) gatherings for singles ate certain times, maybe a cocktail party or a meet in the disco.
Of course, hanging out around the pool especially near the pool bars, you are guaranteed to meet other singles.
Thanks for the tips! I am really exicted! Me and my fraternity brother have been planning this for the past 3 months! Although its in March, I am trying to get all of the information I can before I go! I know it will be a great time no matter what, but no need for not anything about the ship! lol
The pool is the best place to meet women during the day. Check out a group of girls and then start up a conversation. At night the disco is probably the best.
There really isn't a secret word or other strategy for a cruise ship. It's about the same as you would hook up with someone at home or anywhere else.
Take care,
Mike

chase, have you booked your cruise yet? if not you really need to look into the age requirements/restrictions about booking your cabin if all of you are 21

I believe he has booked as metioned in another thread he started..... Passengers can book their cruise if under 21 years of age....they just need to be 21 years of age before boarding the ship.
Meeting people on the ship.... the lido deck, pool, disco......not that many other places that I can think of. But fortunately you are all in a relatively small arena for "x" number of days and I am sure you will find the places that most will hang out that you are interested in getting to know !
Have a GREAT cruise !
