novice cruisers: grandmother, daugher, grandson

My daughter and her son and I are leaving on a Holland America cruise on Eurodam on December 31st. We've never been on a cruise before, and any helpful hints would be welcome.

Congratulations,and to be cruising New Years Eve is such fun. If your grandson,is younger, cruising at this time, on this ship, there will be plenty of kids.

Bring a power strip for everyone's electronics, a garbage bag, to act as a laundry bag, for soiled clothes, in the closet, and, you can pick up an inexpensive over the door shoe bag, to see everything at a glance...sun tan lotions jewelry,meds, perfume, things like this, to keep the small desk area clean of whatever. Bring a hilighter to make sure you don;t miss a thing, form the daily activity sheet, you will get daily, in your cabin.

Try the Pinnacle Grille, delicious...What ports are you doing? If you go to Half Moon Cay...you will have a splendid day there.
