First Time Cruisers advice: Read the fine print
Reading the fine print in any contract is important. An example I found was the NCL offer of a credit on a future cruise and on ship credit on the present cruise. Nice offer. A cruisemate pointed out that the the benefits were applicable to only one person per cabin on a cruise and not to each individual in the cabin. This meant that a couple could use the certificate on one cruise and then on a second cruise a second certificate could be used. The condition about one certificate per cabin per cruise was printed on the application form, but I didn't see it until it was pointed out by the cruisemate. My cruisemate is good at reading the fine print.
