Please recommend a solid cruise specialist

I live in Long Beach, CA but perhaps all can be done via email and phone? I'd prefer to have someone with whom I can work locally. It'd also be excellent if I could meet with this person outside of M-F work hours, but I can live if that is not possible.

The person or agency should be knowledgeable about several different lines and be patient with many questions. A genuine interest in finding a good deal is also important.

I personally did not have a good experience with Nancy Bogert and would not recommend her . I also thought that it was not allowed to discuss specific TA's on CM ,am I wrong ,Trip ?

Nope, Henry.. you are wrong. If someone specifically asks for recommendations they are allowed. What's not allowed is Travel Agents responding recommending themselves.

As far as you're experience with Nancy, it does boggle my mind, because as I understand it, you've never booked with her.

You said she never responded to your request for quotes, I believe.

Emails can be missed in the pile, but if you call, there's almost always someone answering the phone.

Henry, I know not every agent is a good fit for everyone, but it does surprise me as well. I hope you have found your cruise angel...My daugher just booked with Nancy for Bermuda next week,and was dealt with in a timely manner...

Nancy and her crew are very good. You can call, email and even FB them. Should not be a problem with communication.

I prefer being called Ari . Secondly ,Nancy did not return my wifes phone calls nor my e-mails .

I have a sister who changed her first name..it took me a very long time to call her by her "new" name, I suspect the same thing is going happen here.
