Fending off a shark
Shark coming at you. Use anything to hit the shark's eyes or gills. Make quick sharp repeated jabs. Contrary to popular opinion the shark's nose is not the area to attack . Sharks are bullies fighting back makes them unsure of their advantage. This advice goes for bar sharks too.

Thank you BPC - I have sharks to be a constant problem and I always wondered what to do about it.
Last time I took a flyswatter, but it didn't really work under water. ;) |
Gosh, I had no idea how to fight back a shark, thanks BP.....Lets all hope this never happens...

The shark population has enough problems over being killed for shark fin soup. Please don't bully any sharks you meet.

You are right. Sharks should not be harvested for their fins
Sharks should not be harvested for their fins. One part of the problem which I
do not understand is that their are a lot of impotent men of Oriental extraction who believe the soup works to improve their lives. The second part of the problem is that the sharks get a lot of bad press. You watch Shark Week on TV and what do you see. Not a perfect tooth smile that a dentist would be proud of saying she worked on, but a blood-smeared mouth as it surges at the camera with its multi-rows of teeth. They need to get a better press agent possibly porpises or seals could help them to change their denizens of the deep image. Possibly they could work out a deal with some company to sell there secret for everlasting teeth so that people could have good teeth all the rest of their lives. |
How about a button that says.
I eat sharks. That would scare them away. ..rofl TM |
