First Cruise

My very first cruise is coming up on Friday. I have to say I am very excited. :D I hope I'm prepared as I have a lot of stuff I've been thinking about. Any thoughts of something someone always seems to forget??

I remember after my first cruise, I learned that you can't do everything (it's NOT relaxing), and the purpose of the cruise is to let you relax and ENJOY the experience.

Thank you. I will be sure to do that. There's so much to do and I would hate to be overwhelmed on my first cruise.

There is the old adage that does ring true: "Take half the clothes and twice the money."

Over packing is one of the biggest problems for first or sixth time cruisers. Often you will take too much stuff and never use it.

All you have to have is:
1. Boarding pass.
2. Passport or Birth Certificate with government issued ID
3. Credit Card with a good available balance.
4. Insurance
5. Medications. If needed.

Anything after that isn't a requirement but just something that's nice to have. :)

Take care and enjoy.
