packing for beach day

So water is free? what if i want to have a few bottles to put in a small cooler for when we get to the beach? can a grab a few or only one at a time? also is there food on board that is free that i can put in my small cooler so i dont have to leave the beach when hungry? also are there usually showers at the beach? im sure they are all different but just wondering...also are their ice machines on board to fill my cooler? will be on a carnival freedom

The only place water is free is from the faucet in your cabin bathroom.. Anywhere else in the room/fridge...there is a charge for it. If you bring a few empty bottles along you can just fill them up and take off the ship, and if you ask your cabin steward, they will keep your ice bucket filled continuously throughout the day, for your use.

If you go the a private island, like Half Moon Cay, there is a buffet lunch there for the passengers.

You not supposed to take food off the ship. It's against all cruise line regulations. Many pax do and then when they get a $200 fine they complain, even though walked past a sign warning them.

You should be able to find food around the ship most of the time, no need to take anything off the ship...Start the day with a good breakfast before getting off for an excursion, etc. Depending on how long you will be in port, you can always come back aboard and have lunch, etc.
