I was looking at Ochos Rios! For some reason, I completely looked over this excursion. Thank you!

We've done some island tours...Porting in Falmouth, from what I have heard, there is less to do there..If you do decide to do Dunns River, which my daugher and her husband loved, buy your beach shoes at home..you will need them for safety, on the rocks

I would only use ship's excursions in this port, and just a heads up, you most likely will be approached by locals, selling you, what you don't want to get involved with.

This island is lush, and green....enjoy your first cruise, with Royal Craibbean!

Dare I ask what the locals are going to try to sell us or what they are really like? I've heard some crazy things about Jamaica.

Good idea though, I will make sure to pack beach shoes

Over the years, the island has earned a reputation.....not to say it doesn't happen in other ports. it happene3d to us in St. Thomas, and unbeknownst to us, fortunately, a policeman was watching and, sent him on his way.

Being approached to buy drugs is commonplace, but, a firm no is usually all it takes, to send them on their merry way.

The shopping areas are gated, ship excursions are advised, and keeping to the well trafficked areas is recommended.
