Default Looking for great cruises

Guys, I saw the Emerald Princess cruise ship in my city Burgas' port last summer and was really impressed with the giant size of this one. Wow! I wonder have any of you travelled with it? How does it look on the inside? I know that the outside is beautiful! Like really beautiful. I also made a video of it.

You really can't go wrong with Princess, yes, they are pretty inside, not a "WOW" interior, but nice soft colors and artwork.....I love their service and the food is good, decent entertainment...All in all, a nice relaxing cruise, certainly not a party atmosphere at all....I love to cruise Princess, especially in Alaska...

Tim,
What is the route you will be on and where does it leave from?

Donna, I am on Emerald Princess. Inside passage; Seattle Roundtrip. We hit Skagway, Ketchikan, Tracy Arm/Juneau, and Victoria. We have two sea days. 7 night cruise. I chose roundtrip out of Seattle for several reasons. We are taking our grandkids; so we have limited time. We did not have time to do land/Sea together. I didn't want to fly to Anchorage, then come home from Vancouver or vice versa. Plus plan on getting to Seattle one or two days early to sightsee. Would like to take kids to downtown space needle; pikes fish market, jimi Hendrix memorial and Bruce Lee memorial

OK, I did the same trip on Star Princess a few years ago, great cruise. Our day in Tracy Arm was especially beautiful...it was the first time that year they could actually go far inside....totally amazing....Enjoy your cruise with the grandkids.

TimmyK that sounds like a great trip! I strongly suggest that you pre-purchase your tickets to the Space Needle. On our cruise we booked their Shore Excursion and were bypassed by numerous people who had pre-purchased! We ended up in line for about 2 hours and at the top of the Space Needle for about 5 minutes!
Have a wonderful cruise,

I do plan on just that. Our travel agent is working with us. She said once we get within 90 days she will start purchasing the land options for us. Thanks for the heads up.

Donna, here is a question for you. I have read on Princess website; that when the ship is in Tracy Arm; princess has a shore excursion where you get off the emerald princess and get on a small boat which goes right up to the glacier. It then takes you up to Juneau; where you meet up with the ship; Did you know this? Thanks

Tim,
At the time we went through Tracy Arm, I don't think they offered that, sounds great...something I would think about doing if back in Tracy Arm...
