Default working on cruise just for one week

I would like to ask if is possible work on cruise from Southhampton to New York just for one way. In my opinion this is good opportunity for traveling to USA and help on cruise in the same time. I'm not even thinking about salary, I'm just being curious. Sorry if is this question already here. Thank you for answers.

I'll make the answer simple. No.

There is a long process of recruiting, screening and training cruise staff and crew and there is no major cruise line that would do what you want.

You may try signing on with a cargo vessel.

Take care,
Mike
