Luv to play Blackjack. I count cards and play basic Vegas strategy. Do the casinos on board have pit bosses who watch the variations in your bet as the deck becomes favorable to the player? Also, can u double down on any two cards.i.e, double on the 5and4 versus a dealer's upcard of a 5 or 6. Thanks John.
In general yes they have a boss watching the game, and yes the casinos play Vegas rules, however the other players will destroy you're count by the unthinkable moves they make. Its not a Las Vegas type crowd in the casino and most do not know how to play. If you say that you want the third base seat they think you want to sit by the vistors dugout. After a couple of days you can see who the good and bad players are and try to get a table with the good ones ...Good luck!
Good luck with your card counting! Every ship I have been on plays out of a shoe with 6 or 8 decks. No, the pit bosses rarely pay much attention. Played with a drunk and very abusive man who sounded like a truck driver and verbally abused the gay dealer, yet the bosses stood around and laughed at him.
