One item I forogt to include in my report on the Golden Princess was the higher limits on the Blackjack tables.
This was the first trip on a cruise where I saw them offering a $100 minimum bet table. They also has a considerable # of $25 tables.
The supervisors told me this a bit unusual, but they found they had an unusual number of higher limit players on the New Year's sailing, so accomodated them.
One other thing of note.. if playing at a $25 or higher minimum table the casino bought the drinks.
On our sailing there were actually quite a lot of people at the tables who seemed to be decent players. Unusual for a cruise ship, but in the end it helped, I ended up the week with a bit of the casinos money.
