Dealer stands on any 17.

They have face up blackjack too. If you're not familiar with this all the cards, including the dealer's, are dealt up. You know what the dealer has immediately. It's fun to play and you can really play a long time but it's not really the best odds because in this game dealer wins ties and blackjack pays even odds, not 3/2 odds.

Regards,
Thomas

Obviously you only see the dealers top card, and I have only seen English 21 played on any ship I have been on. All cards up except dealers hole card!

I was just on the Ecstasy 10/18/02. They also have face up BJ. This is a tough game becasue you lose a push. So if the dealer has 20, and you have 20, you have to hit. I did pretty well at it, but it is a tough game.

Face up BJ is a suckers game. You will push about 15 hands out of 100 in any BJ game. That variable alone is a reason to NOT play the game.
