Roulette - minimum bets

What is the minimum bet for Roulette?
Can i split the minimum amongst
odd/even, red/black, columns, etc?
I like to bet $1 on a specific number then
bet $1 on every even odds, and 2-1 odds
for that specific number. Thanks.

Not I am sure, but I think there is either a $5 OR $10 minimum, I have not cruised in a couple years, I am leaving in 2 weeks. But the minium usually applies to either inside or outside bets. so if you bet outside (red/blk, odd/even...) you have to bet the whole minium. and inside bets the same you have to bet the whole minium inside. sometimes the miniums are different for inside and outside betting.

The usual minimums are as follows:

Inside bets--on individual numbers, or groups of numbers (called splits or corners) -- $5 total. You can make five $1 bets if you like, but they must be on the inside part of the board where the numbers are.

Outside bets--on odd/even, red/black, dozens, columns, 1-18/19-36) -- $5 per bet. You must play at least $5 on each and any of these bets, with no splitting.
