can anybody tell me what the limits are on the ship playing texas hold em poker , i seen on the players club web sight that the conquest is now playing texas hold em, but it doesnt give the limits. thanks
somebody on here must know the poker limits on carnival, most of the ships are now playing texas hold em but i was wondering if the have no limit tables limit tables or both.
It's been almost a month since last post on this subject but has anyone noticed the limits, how many tables and the approximate average waiting time for hold em on the boat. I'm traveling on the Fascination in July and was hoping to get in some good poker time after the kiddies went to bed.
I played no-limit on the Norwegian Jewel in Nov.'05 and again in Feb.'06. There was a tournament each night, with either one or two seatings depending on how many players were interested. I believe that the buy-in was US$60 for the no-limit tournaments.
There was only one table dedicated to Texas hold'em. When the no-limit tournaments weren't being played, they had regular "limit" games too. I'm not sure what the blinds were, but I would guess that they were around $3/6.
I was on the Carnival Victory in July 2006. When the table was not being used for no-limit tournaments, they were playing $3-$6 limit. Some tournaments had buy-ins of $25; others had buy-ins of $60.
On Carnival Fascination it was limit 4/8 with one table operating. Hard to get a game cause the table is all the way in the back of the ship, no where near the casino. You really have to ask in order to find it.
