Charging casino chips to RCI onboard account?

Some cruise lines make you pay a fee (usually 3% of purchase), while others don't. For example, NCL will charge your purchase of chips up to $2,000 per day to your onboard account, without charging you extra for the privilege. Does anybody know if RCI does the same, or do they increase your purchase by 3% (or some other amount) as a fee for charging the chips? Any information about RCI's practice in this regard will be appreciated. We will be sailing on the Mariner OTS next Sunday. Thanks.

RCI and Celebrity have no service fee for taking casino chips on your shipboard charge card.... up to $2000/day

They do however monitor that you're playing an amount "reasonable" for the amount you've withdrawn. And reserve the right to decline another transaction if you're not.

Thanks, Kuki. That's pretty much the same as NCL's policy. They also monitor your play if you make substantial purchases of chips, and I've seen them decline further charges to an onboard account if the person's level of play doesn't appear to match his purchases.
