Three dollar Blackjack

On my last HAL cruise, The BJ minium was only $3 instead of $5. This applied to the evening as well as the afternoon. However, there was only one $3 table, which filled up first. It will be interesting to see if this policy continues, or if they revert to the $5 minimum.

They were not using CSM's, but continued to deal from an eight deck shoe.

What were the limits for BlackJack on the Carnival ships?

Carnival had $3 play on all the tables (I believe) the first night and then went to $5 and up tables. When we went on NCL they had only $10 BJ tables the first 3 nights. I guess enough people finally complained so they did lower it to $5

The Maasdam added a 2nd $3 blackjack table. I guess they concluded that the $3 players are worth the trouble.

On some ships in the afternoon they will put the betting at half the normal bet. such as 50 cents for roulette and 2.00 for blackjack.

CO Cruiser, I believe the max bets for blackjack are either
$300 or $500 but also do believe if you are a high roller they
will raise the max bet for you and also your own table.
