Am on a cruise sailing in November via Italy ports, etc.
In the casino, what currency are they using when you get chips? May be a dumb question, but admittedly I am rather naiive on exchange etc. I did hear that the dollar is worth only 75 euros so if that is the case, do you lose 25% in your exchange??
The currency is Euros. Yes.. you will not get par for US $ to the Euro. Also remember that if you get an advance from your credit card, most CC companies charge a conversion Fee (5% of your amount) with either advances and purchases. The only card that I've found that does not charge you a fee is the Capitol One MasterCard.
